I'm encouraged by the new WWW developments that are taking place among our
colleagues. I think these will enrich our means of communications (but
don't forget that we still have our more traditional modes too <grin>).

Please be sure to let us all know when you've opened your Web site. There
are several of us who are keeping track of vision science resources on
the Internet, so it'll be good to announce them here on CVNet.

Thanks!

We have a WWW home page here at stanford, "Stanford Vision and Imaging
Science and Techology".

By the way, I think cvnet should be a web homepage instead of an email
server. I think it would work much better. It's silly for each of us
to have our own copy of this big file of email addresses. If you want
to look up somebody's email address, connect to the cvnet homepage and
type their name. If you are looking for a job, connect to the cvnet
homepage and look through the job listings. Note this also means that
if you are not looking for a job, you don't get lots of irrelevant
email!

Plus there could be hot links to all of the other vision related
homepages popping up.
