Topics: This symposium will deal with the information processing in the
distal layers of the vertebrate retina. The aim of this symposium is to
discuses the connectivity in and the modulation and adaptation of the
network of the photoreceptors, horizontal cells and the bipolar cells in the
vertebrate retina. Sessions will be devoted to the electrophysiology and
morphology of the outer retina, to computational modelling of the outer
retina and to behavioral experiments.

1, 1995 at workshops@amc.uva.nl. or at the address below. This email address

to us. The registration fee is Hfl 150.-- and can be payed at the desk at
the start of the meeting. The registration of this symposium is independent
from the ENA registration.
Housing assistance: If you are registered for ENA then the housing bureau of
the ENA meeting can take care for the arrangements. If you have not
registered for the ENA meeting then you have to organize your own
accommodation or we can serve as mediator. Please indicate which category of
