The Instituto de Optica of the CSIC (Spain) offers two postdoctoral research
positions in Experimental Optics. Preferred areas of interest include (but
are not limited to): Imaging (Image Formation, Image Processing); Vision
(Physiological Optics, Image Understanding); Medical Optics;
Nonlinear Optics in Waveguides and Optical Processes in Solids (Ultrafast
Phenomena, Optical Memories and Storage). The positions are for a maximum
period of 1-2 years with a gross salary about 3.300.000 pesetas/year, and
medical insurance. The candidates may have the opportunity to join the faculty
staff of the Instituto after this postdoctoral period, and therefore Spanish
or European Union citizens are encouraged to apply. The search will begin
inmediatelly and will remain open until May, 15. Applicants should send a
