We are currently performing resolution tests on optical filters. In order
to create a series of filters that could be graded from 'good' to 'bad', we
tried to fabricate filters with a range of resolution qualities. Our
attempts to heat and slightly deform polycarbonate filters have been less
than successful. Generally, we end up with good filters and really bad
filters with nothing in between.
We are looking for innovative ways to create a range of filter resolution
qualities. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
