POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE with group studying infant visual development.
Current work addresses issues of the development of accommodation, convergence,
and their linkages, binocular eye movement control, spatial vision, and infant
perception. Methods employed include corneal reflection eye movement recording,
VEPs, behavioral methods, photorefraction and other methods for early vision
screening. We prefer someone with a broad background in vision, with interest
in expanding into human developmental research. Strong computer background
required; experience in real-time C or C++ programming and image processing
preferred. The group includes Louise Hainline, Tricia Riddell, and Israel
Abramov. Salary in the low/mid 30's, excellent fringe benefits. Will consider
someone international, providing person can qualify for a J visa. Position
