The 3rd Annual Color Imaging Conference: Color Science, Systems and
Applications aims to be the premier technical conference for scientists,
technologists and engineers working in the multidisciplinary areas
of color science, systems, and their application to color images.
This meeting will bring together optical physicists, psychophysicists,
psychologists, image processing scientists, systems designers, hardware
and software engineers, and communications specialists to discuss their
latest results and the major directions, issues and challenges in the
field of color imaging.
The single track conference will feature three main topical areas:
Color Science: physics, psychophysics and psychology of color and
vision, colorimetry, measurement methods, instrumentation, plus color
models and metrics.
Color Imaging Systems: Imaging technology, color engineering, color
management systems, image compression/interchange, spectral data and
linear models in imaging systems.
Applications of Color Imaging: Color in industrial, consumer, office and
scientific applications. Some areas include medical imaging, remote
sensing, data visualization, simulation and virtual reality, complex
color documents, and color in graphic arts.
Members of CVNET, please consider presenting your work. Submit a 35-50
word abstract and a 2-4 page descriptive summary of the technical
approach/results and a short biography by MAY 15, 1995
