POSTDOC IN VISUAL PSYCHOPHYSICS OR VISUAL NEUROSCIENCE

A postdoctoral position is available for work in one or
more of the following areas: PSYCHOPHYSICS (adaptation,
gain control, or spatial sensitization processes;
assessment of perceptual abilities with night vision
devices; visual disruption in glaucoma and relations to
retinal topography and nerve fiber layer thickness;
visual search), VISUAL NEUROSCIENCE (single-unit
electrophysiology, cellular/molecular mechanisms of
plasticity, nitric oxide in visual development/
plasticity).
Prior training in visual psychophysics and/or
electrophysiology is required, and programming,
computational and/or image analysis skills are desirable.
Initial appointment is for one year starting July 1,
1995. Salary commensurate with experience on NIH scale
