Subject: postdoctoral fellowship

Postdoctoral Position Available: Visual Neurophysiology

A postdoctoral position is available to participate in
single-unit studies of mechanisms of sensory coding in primary visual cortex
and receptive field dynamics.

The research makes use of novel
methods of analysis of spike train dynamics
and focuses on nonlinear interactions in the classical
and extended receptive field.

Candidates should have experience in visual physiology
and single-unit recording, and have a good mathematical
aptitude and communication skills.

The position is available for a term of 24 to 36 months,
