TWO POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS
Applications are invited for two postdoctoral positions in visual science at the
University of London, Royal Holloway College.
Royal Holloway College is situated just outside London, near Windsor. Previously
unknown in the vision world, Royal Holloway's Psychology Department has recently
developed a strong vision group including Andy Smith (previously at Cardiff),
Steve Anderson (previously at Aston) and Tim Ledgeway. Several other vision
research groups are to be found in nearby London, plus one in each of Reading,
Surrey and Brunel universities, all of which are close.
The two posts are both for three years commencing 1 Jan 1996 (or other
convenient date by negotiation). Starting salary up to a maximum of 21,119
sterling (incl. London weighting) according to age and experience. One post is
for a project on the psychophysics of motion perception, the other will involve
a mixture of psychophysics, neuropsychology and fMRI work. One is funded by
BBSRC and the other by the Wellcome Trust. Interested parties should contact
