The Department of Psychology expects to fill a tenur-track assistant
professor position in the area of cognitive psychology. Ph.D. required.
Any candidate in the area of cognition/perception will be considered;
however we are especially interested in an individual with a research
focus on higher-order cognition or perception. Rsearch programs might
address such topics as problem-solving or memory or the cognitive aspects
of perception. We would prefer an individual with strong mathematical
skills and would be especially interested in a person studying higher
order cognition or perception with a biological approach. Applicants
should have a strong research program and will be expected to participate
actively in the teaching program of the department. To apply, send a
