CONFERENCE
REFRACTION AND KERATOMETRY: THE MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS
(MOPANE 1996)
Papers are invited for a small research oriented conference on
Refraction and Keratometry: the Mathematics and Statistics. The
conference will take place at Mopani Camp in the Kruger Park in South
Africa on 3-5 August 1996. Presentations will be between 9:30
and 15:00 each day leaving delegates free to go on game drives at
dawn and dusk each day. Transport in microbuses will be provided for
those who want it from Phalaborwa airport on the border of the Park
and each day from Mopani. There will be no companions' program as
such but companions will be able to join game drives while the
conference is in session. There will be a total of 27 20-minute
presentations. Presentations will be subject to selection by the
Program Committee: L Thibos of Indiana U, WN Charman of UMIST, G
Smith of U Melbourne, and WF Harris of RAU. Accommodation in the Park
and on flights to Phalaborwa is very limited and reservations will
need to be made early.
