Funds are available to support a post-doctoral fellow to work full time on
project to investigate how visual acuity and stereoacuity are influenced by
oculomotor changes produced by preflight adaptation training at NASA
Johnson Space Center. The project is sponsopred jointly by the Institute
for Space Systems Operations at the University of Houston (UH) and Johnson
Space Center (JSC). The principal investigator at UH is Harold E. Bedell,
Ph.D.; the co-investigators at JSC are Deborah L. Harm, Ph.D. and Millard
F. Reschke, Ph.D. A complete description of the project, required
qualifications of the post-doctoral fellow, an application form, and

anticipated duration of this post-doctoral position is for two years, with
an annual salary of $34,000. The position will be filled at the earliest
possible date after January 1, 1996.
