Enoch Vision Science Meeting
University of California, Berkeley
School of Optometry
April 27-30, 1996.
The UCB School of Optometry invites you to attend the Enoch Vision Science
Meeting on the Berkeley campus. The meeting is being held to celebrate
Professor Jay M Enoch's many contributions to the field of Vision Science,
Optometry and Ophthalmology and will present the work of Jay's many
students, post-docs, and colleagues.
A wide range of topics will be covered in the areas of:
* optics of the eye
* basic & clinical diagnostic vision research (including imaging
and related topics)
* receptor optics
* free standing session
More than 50 papers have been submitted for consideration in these areas.
The symposium will consist of a 2 day scientific papers presentation
program (Sunday and Monday April 28, 29), a banquet honoring Jay (Sunday),
a public NEI sponsored lecture on monday evening (5-6.30pm) followed by
social get together and a social day on Tuesday April 30 (a trip to the
wine country). Papers will be published as symposium proceedings.
Participants and attendees should arrive Saturday April 27 for
registration and informal reception at the School of Optometry at 5-7pm.
