We would like to create changing visual scenery to simulate driving along
a roadside -- including scenery that changes in response to steering as
well as to slowing and stopping. Thus, we hope to have a good update rate
as well as reasonable visual resolution and FOV.
If we use a Pentium computer, does anyone have suggestions for the following:
(1) Software
(2) Graphics card
(3) Monitor and/or
(4) Head-mounted display
If so, we'd like to know the name of the vendor, approximate cost,
brief specs (if available), and a means to contact the vendor (e.g., email
address, phone number, or snail mail address).
Also, if you know of another system to use for driving simulation tasks,
could you please let us know about it?
Thanks!
