Dr Sally A. McFadden
Two positions are available with one suitable
for a newly completed PhD student, and both
aimed at applicants with Research Interests in Vision in
Biological Psychology, Physiological Psychology
or Neuroscience.
The positions are available for 5 years, and the
appointee would be expected to provide lectures,
and laboratory practicals to undergraduate students,
and to higher levels if appropriate.
Experience in teaching aspects of research methods
and/or introductory statistics is desirable.
Good laboratory facilities, general histological
and biochemical labs, and animal breeding
and holding facilities are also available.
There is also access to start-up funds for
research work.
The University of Newcastle is located in
Newcastle on the East Coast of Australia.
Newcastle has a wonderful climate and great
surfing beaches, and is adjacent to the Hunter
Valley, one of the major wine production areas
of Australia.
