POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE
In the Dept. of Neurophysiology, Ruhr-University Bochum is a Postdoc
position available in the field of in-vivo electrophysiology in the
visual system of vertebrates. The project tries to gain information
about the spatial and temporal coding of information by cells in the
Lateral Geniculate Nucleus and the visual cortex. To this end we
pursue experimental and theoretical approaches in parallel.
Requirements: PhD in Biology or Physics
Background in in-vivo electrophysiology
Offer: Starting May 1st for 3 years (extension possible), salary
according to BAT IIa (approx. 55000,- DM annually before taxes, age
dependent).
