Two positions exist at Kodak in Rochester, NY for individuals with
expertise in the specification and evaluation of hardcopy and display
image quality for photographic and electronic systems. He or she
would join a talented group of human factors engineers in Kodak's
Human Factors Laboratory, Imaging Research and Advanced Development.
We are engaged in developing a wide range of color imaging products
for consumer and commercial use. These systems include Photo CD
imaging workstations, public access kiosks, digital cameras, and
photographic products. Our competency in image quality evaluation is
a key component to meeting Kodak's goal for world leadership in
imaging. U.S. citizenship or work-permit Visa is required for both
positions. Salary will be negotiable and dependent on qualifications.

Human Factors Intern: Image Quality Specialist
An undergraduate degree in human factors, ergonomics, psychology,
industrial engineering, visual science or related field is required.
The successful candidate will be currently enrolled in a graduate
program in one of these disciplines. Knowledge of human visual
perception is required.
Human Factors Engineer: Image Quality Specialist
A graduate degree in human factors, ergonomics, psychology, industrial
engineering, visual science or related field is required. Knowledge
of human visual perception and statistical analysis techniques is
required. A track record in the design and evaluation of hardcopy or
display image quality are added benefits.
