POSTDOCTORAL POSITION available in the Bard Laboratories of the
Mind/Brain Institute, JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY.

Neural basis of visual perception. Single-cell physiology in
behaving monkey, psychophysics, modeling. Research topics are
contour and surface representation, color and depth; visual object
representation, feature binding, attention. Excellent technical
support, multi-electrode recording, SGI workstations for visual
stimulus generation. The newly founded Mind/Brain Institute is
expanding research in systems neuroscience with emphasis on cerebral
cortex and perception.

Requirements are PhD or equivalent, special interest in vision or
perception, and experience in single cell recording. Salary
depending on experience. The Johns Hopkins University is an Equal
