POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN COLOR AND FORM PERCEPTION
(Position Reopened)

A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of
Psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno. Current
research is focused on color- and pattern-selective adaptation
in the visual system. The position would provide excellent
opportunities for combining psychophysics, modeling and
image processing in a well-equipped lab. Applicants should
have a strong background in psychophysics and/or modeling,
good mathematical skills and preferably previous experience
in C programming. The position is available immediately
for an initial one-year period, and may be renewable
for up to three years. Reno is set in stunning surroundings
on the eastern edge of the Sierras. Applications for the
position should include a cv and the names of three references.
For further information or to apply please contact Mike Webster
at mwebster@scs.unr.edu. I will be available at ARVO to discuss
the position with anyone interested, and can be contacted at
the meeting or at the Holiday Inn, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.
