POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW, NEUROIMAGING OF ATTENTION.

Applications invited for a postdoctoral fellow position, available
immediately,
in human cognitive and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) studies of
attention at the Cognitive Science Lab (CSL), Catholic University of America.
The position is for three years initially, with the possibility of extension
for additional years, and is funded by a new, five-year grant from the National
Institutes of Health to Raja Parasuraman. The position will involve cognitive
studies of visuospatial attention in young and older adults at the CSL and fMRI
studies of visual and auditory attention at the Section on Functional Brain
Imaging, Laboratory of Psychology and Psychopathology, National Institute of
Mental Health under the direction of James V. Haxby. Ph.D. in cognitive
neuroscience, cognitive psychology, or neuroscience required. Experience with
functional brain imaging (fMRI, PET) or related techniques such as ERPs is
preferred but not essential. COMPETITIVE SALARY and benefits, dependent on
