POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN VISUAL NEUROPHYSIOLOGY
A postdoctoral fellowship is available in my laboratory at Northwestern
University. We study the circuitry underlying the responses of simple and
complex cells of the cat visual cortex using in vivo intracellular
recording. Our work is largely experimental but we have a strong interest
in modeling and computational issues. The ideal candidate has experience
in visual neuroscience, in vitro cellular physiology or computational
vision.
The Evanston Campus of Northwestern University, overlooking the shores of
Lake Michigan, is located 20 minutes from downtown Chicago. The position is
not restricted to US residents.
