CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:
INSIGHT is the quarterly newsletter of the Visual Performance
Technical Group of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
The newsletter contains articles on any topic that addresses
vision and human performance. It also lists announcements of
meetings, recent publications of interest, research comments,
and news of the Visual Performance Technical Group.
Topics to consider for submission are:
- Research that you have done or are in the process of doing.
- Literature reviews.
- Book reviews.
- Reviews of equipment or software that you have used.
- Overview of your lab's research efforts.
- Write-ups of a briefing or poster session you have given.
- A "think piece" concerning a need for research.
Students are strongly encouraged to submit.
Authors should attempt to limit their articles to 6500 words
(6 pages) or less.
We will be happy to receive your submission in hard copy, on
disk (Wordperfect or MS Word), or over e-mail (e.g.,
UUEncoded). We are also fortunate to have graphic arts support
and can offer to enhance figures, screen photos, or render from
sketches.
We can use articles for both the June and September issues.
We will ensure prompt publication and will assist you in any edits
that might be necessary.
