Gesine Mohn Travel Fellowship
It is the 25th Anniversary of Infant Vision Research. In
honor of this event, a group of vision scientists who work in the
field of basic or clinical infant visual function are seeking to
establish a permanent ARVO student travel fellowship
for a young researcher in the field. This travel fellowship will be
named in memory of Gesine Mohn, a bright young investigator
who contributed many important infant vision studies to the
literature in her brief career. Our goal is to raise $10,000 in
private and corporate contributions so that we may award a
travel grant of $500 each year without depleting capital funds.
This travel grant will be administered by ARVO.
You may have already received a mailing from our group
soliciting a contribution. We have raised $5000 this year during
ARVO in response to this mailing. We need additional
contributions to reach our goal. Please consider making a tax-
deductible contribution to this fund.
