Postdoctoral Position: Visual Selective Attention/Cognitive Neuroscience
A two-year postdoctoral position is available immediately to study visual
selective attention using computer-based measures of behavioral performance and
concurrent high-density recording of human brain electrical activity (EEG and
event-related potentials). Paradigms include visual search and high-rate
sequential stimulus presentation. Studies are performed on normal subjects and
patients with focal brain lesions. The laboratory is located about 20 miles
East of Berkeley, CA in a VA Outpatient Clinic. It is affiliated with the
Department of Neurology at UC Davis and the UC Davis Center for Neuroscience.
Salary: $25-30k, based on experience.
Prerequisites. PhD in neurosciences, psychology or related disciplines.
Experience with UNIX and/or PC computers desirable.
