POSTDOOCTORAL FELLOW WANTED:
We are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to work in Montreal, Canada on a=

project funded by the Medical Research Council of Canada to study the=20
optical effects of excimer laser photorefractive keratectomy. The project=
=20
will involve close collaboration=20
between Prof. Pierre Simonet and Prof. Isabelle Brunette of the=20
Universite de Montreal and Prof. Melanie Campbell of the University of=20
Waterloo. The appointment will be for one year initially,
renewable for a second year. The salary will be between $C25,000. and=20
$C30,000. per year.=20
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills in English or=20
French. A Ph.D. in Vision Science, physics or engineering=20
is preferred. A knowledge of optics of the eye or of optical image=20
quality as well as some computing ability is preferred. The project will=20
involve both=20
experimentation and analysis. The position could start any time.=20
