Subject: postdoc position vision (UC Santa Barbara)
A one-year post-doctoral research position is available in the Department
of Psychology, UC Santa Barbara. The goals of the research project are to
develop a multispectral digital camera, to use this camera to acquire
images of laboratory and natural scenes, to characterize the statistical
properties of the acquired images, and to use the images as stimuli in
psychophysical experiments on human color vision. The position is most
suitable for an individual with background and interest in computational
vision. A Ph.D. in vision or a related science is preferred. Salary is
approximately $27K (plus benefits). Send letter of interest, vita,
