POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS IN COLOR AND MOTION PSYCHOPHYSICS
AT McGILL VISION RESEARCH

Applications are invited for the following TWO positions:
1. A two year postdoctoral position, with the possibility of renewal
for a third year, to work in collaboration with Kathy Mullen.
The position is research grant funded for work on human color vision
within the area of form and space perception. Available from spring 1997.
2. A two year postdoctoral position to work in collaboration with
Curtis Baker and Kathy Mullen on a project involving color and
motion perception.
Applicants for either position should have experience in a related area of
visual psychophysics, and should be competant at programming visual stimuli
on the VSG graphics card (Cambridge Research Systems) or on the Macintosh.
The starting dates are negotiable.
The McGill Vision Research Unit is an autonomous research group within the
Department of Ophthalmology. There are 4 faculty members working in
visual psychophysics and neurophysiology (Robert Hess, Fred Kingdom,
Kathy Mullen & Curtis Baker), as well as a substantial group of postdoctoral
fellows and graduate students. Together with colleagues in nearby
departments and visiting collaborators, there is a rich atmosphere of
discussion and collaboration on research questions in vision.
