Congratulations to

Junzhong Liang

for winning the
Best Presentation by a Young Investigator
for his paper,
"Adaptive optics for compensating for the wave aberration of the eye"

at the 1996 Annual Meeting of the Optical Society of America. Dr. Liang
is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Visual Science. His
presentation was co-authored by David Williams and Donald Miller.

Thanks to all of the Young Investigators who applied, for helping to make
the Rochester meeting one of the best OSA meetings in recent memory.

The award committee consisted of Andrew B. Watson (Chair), William H.
Swanson, and Christopher W. Tyler.
