NEW SECTION EDITORS FOR VISION RESEARCH
As of 1 January 1997 two Section Editors of Vision Research will step
down: i.e. Dr. Davida Teller (section 2) and Prof. Michael Morgan (section 4).
Their successors are: Prof. Steven Shevell (section 2) and Dr. Concetta Morrone
(section 4).
Since Michael Morgan will leave for Australia beginning of December,
manuscripts for section 4 should no longer be sent to him, but to
either Prof. Ellen Hildreth or Concetta Morrone.

NEW CATEGORY OF PAPERS
As of January 1997 Vision Research will also have a general section
called RAPID COMMUNICATIONS for publication of highly topical
material with a length of about 2000 words on a fast publication
track. (Submission in the same way as submission of full papers).
TITLE AND ABSTRACT ALSO BY E-MAIL TO SECTION EDITORS
When you submit a manuscript to Vision Research (four copies
[including the original] to the Central Office and one copy to one of
the 10 Sections Editors whose subject area most closely relates to the
work submitted), please send simultaneously BY E-MAIL the title and
abstract of your manuscript to the Section Editor of your choice.
The e-mail addresses of the Section Editors will be printed in the
Instructions to Authors (from volume 37 issue 1, 1997).
