Dear Hoover,
Could you please forward this to the cvnet? Thanks.

Dear SGI Inventor users and people interested in line-drawings:
SGI's Inventor used to be able to automatically generate
beautiful, precise, and "correct" line-drawings of arbitrary 3D
objects from arbitrary viewpoints. Unfortunately, however,
its new version, Open Inventor, has disabled it. I have tried
via regular technical route to ask SGI to re-enable it without
success. I was wondering if we can all complain to SGI how
disappointed we are and how sad it is for SGI to lose this
state of the art function.
One possible site to write to SGI is at:

For a few examples of the line drawings, please check out:

Thank you very much.
PS. I plan to put together all the line-drawings I have, and distribute
them for free. I will make the announcement when this is ready.
