A POSTDOCTORAL POSITION is currently available to study motion perception (1
year with extensions up to 3 years). Projects which are funded by the Air Force
Office of Scientific Research will investigate the perception of self- and
object motion. The position is in the Department of Ophthalmology (Wilmer Eye
Institute) at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. The site is fully
equipped for motion studies: inc. several PCs with high resolution graphics
boards and monitors, Silicon Graphics¹ Workstations, a BARCO rear-projection
system with a large screen (5´ x 7´), a Kistler force platform, an SRI dual
Purkinje eyetracker/image stabilizer and a magnetic search-coil eyetracker. The
candidate must have PhD with expertise in vision psychophysics and good
