auspices of the Borish Center for Ophthalmic Research, a new enterprise in

Indiana University was founded in 1820 and is one of the oldest state
universities west of the Alleghenies. It currently enrolls about 25,000
undergraduates and 9,000 graduate students on the Bloomington campus. Many
of our graduate programs rank among the best in the country. The library's
collection, including the optometry/vision science collection held in the
Optometry branch library, is outstanding, and the School of Music is ranked
first in the country. Bloomington is a relaxed community located in a
beautifully wooded and hilly area of the state where cultural opportunities
abound, housing costs are low, schools are excellent, and commuting time is
short.

Indiana University is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer,
and minority and women candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
