Senior Research Assistant Required

A vacancy exists for a Senior Research Assistant in the School of Optometry
at the Kelvin Grove Campus of Queensland University of Technology. The
appointee will be rsponsible for assisting in the development of optical
systems, computer control systems and imaging analysis methods associated
with techniques for determining eye image quality. Appointment will be for
one year in the first instance.
Applicants should have a Physics degree or Electronic Engineering degree or
have an equivalent qualification. The appointee will have experience in
the fields of optics and imaging analysis. The ability to work
independently and communicate effectively is essential.
Salary $28,768 - $30,474 AU
The position should be advertised in the Weekend Australian 1st February.
