Faculty Positions Available
Tenure Track Position in Pathophysiology, Immunology, Cell or Molecular
Biology, and Pharmacology related to the Eye
The position requires a Ph.D. and/or an advanced clinical degree. Academic
rank and salary will depend on qualifications and experience. The successful
candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a strong, independent
research program capable of attracting external grant support. In addition,
the candidate will be expected to teach aspects of systemic and ocular
physiology and pathophysiology, immunology, and general and ocular
pharmacology to professional and graduate students.
Tenure Track Position in Optics
The position requires a Ph.D. and/or an advanced clinical degree. Academic
rank and salary will depend on qualifications and experience. The successful
candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a strong, independent
research program capable of attracting external grant support. The candidate
will be expected to teach geometrical and/or physical optics in the optometry
and graduate programs. We are particularly interested in scientists whose
work relates to the optics of the eye and to theoretical and applied issues
relevant to the practice of optometry.
