The process of buying an anamoloscope from Schmidt and Haensch is
interesting. They didn t have an American distributer for the instrument and
so one had to deal with the company in Germany. They want prepayment by bank
draft at the exchange rate for the Deutschmark on the day of the purchase.
They build the device after purchase. You can imagine what sorts of fun that
created with the Air Force procurement types. We had to hire a contractor to
buy the machine and that cost an extra $5000.
The address that I have (from the manual) is a bit old.
