Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision
The University of Houston College of Optometry seeks one full time tenure
track Assistant Professor with an emphasis in pediatrics and binocular vision.
Responsibilities include didactic teaching, scholarship, clinical teaching,
and patient care. Ability to attract external funding is desirable. A Doctor
of Optometry degree with advanced research training (Ph.D. or MS) is required.
The successful candidate must have or obtain a license, with TPA
certification, to practice optometry in Texas. Applicants should submit a

Non-Tenure Track Clinical Trials Study Optometrist and Research Assistant
Professor
The University of Houston College of Optometry seeks one full time non-tenure
track optometrist to serve as clinical trials study optometrist and visiting
assistant clinical professor. Responsibilities include patient care as it
relates to the clinical trial study protocol, clinical teaching, and primary
care patient care. A Doctor of Optometry degree is required, with residency
training or clinical experience desirable. The successful candidate must have
or obtain a license, with TPA certification, to practice optometry in Texas.
Preference will be given to bilingual (English and Spanish) applicants.
