Post-Doc Position
A 3 year post-doctoral position is available in the Department of
Psychology at Reading University, UK starting immediately. The position is
to work on an MRC grant entitled "Development of cross-links between
accommodation and vergence in human infants". This will involve testing
infant vision in a longitudinal design using a remote haplosope and
photorefractor. The study is designed to determine when the crosslinks
between accommodation and vergence develop and whether this is a causal
factor in the onset of visual impairments such as strabismus.
I am looking for someone with a Ph.D. in a vision related
area. Experience with infants would be a plus but is not a requirement.
The starting salary is 15,986 pounds per annum.
