Senior Lecturer in Optometry
salary range: 28,552 to 32,266 pounds sterling
The Department of Optometry is one of the UK's leading providers of
optometric education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The
Department wishes to build upon its grade 4 in reseach and is looking to
appoint a senior member of staff to develop further a core area of
research. Applicants should have a significant research record in either
visual optics, aging, oculomotor control, investigative optometry or visual
psychophysics. The post offers an opportunity to contribute to the
development of an expanding and progressive department committed to
promoting high quality research and teaching.
Two Lectureships in Optometry
salary range: 15,593 to 27,196 pounds sterling
Applications are invited for 2 lectureships in the areas of visual optics,
oculomotor function, investigative optometry or visual psychophysics to
complement exisiting research in the Department. Candidates should have a
record of published research and demonstrate an ability to initiate
independent personal research. The posts offer an excellent opportunity for
2 vision scientists to join a grade 4 research department which also
delivers the largest undergraduate programme in the UK.
