POSTDOCTORAL OPENING AT McGILL VISION RESEARCH UNIT

A postdoctoral position has become available in the McGill Vision Research
Unit in Montr=E9al. The position is for an NSERC-funded research project
dealing with the psychophysics of texture perception, specifically
multi-scale interactions in texture segregation and texture gradient
processing. Candidates with previous experience in psychophysics and
Macintosh programming are preferred.

The McGill Vision Unit is a specialised research facility composed of about
fifteen faculty, postdocs and graduate students all researching into
vision. It combines expertise in psychophysics, neurophysiology, computer
modelling and brain imaging. Montr=E9al is a very pleasant, safe and
relatively inexpensive city to live in.

The appointment is initially for one year, renewable to three. For more
