Hoover,

Could you please post this to the group.

Thanks.

I am currently revamping some instructional materials for teaching color
fundamentals. As part of this - I like to include some very basic
material on vision. Most illustrations that I have are old, B/W and
a bit overused. I am looking for some nice color illustrations of -

* Eye physiology
* Eye-brain crossection (from overhead)
* Eye-Brain crossection (from side of head)
I'd like one to feature the the eye more prominently and the
other to feature the retinal area more prominantly...
* Synaptic connections in the retina

Anatomical detail is important but it doesn't have to be "Grays
Anatomy" - something with some artistic flair would be fine as long as
basic accuracy isn't compromised (e.g No eye in someone's navel...;-) )
The images should be of good to high image quality.

Does anyone out there know if any companies supply stock
illustrations/photography of such items for purchase? I need to be sure
that I obtain the proper copyright permissions for image usage in my
materials as well as course handouts.

Any pointers/resourses would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Joann
