Lecturer in Psychology

The appointee will contribute to teaching and research in
Developmental Psychology.
Applicants must have a PhD in Psychology, a strong research
record in Developmental Psychology, a capacity to teach
Developmental Psychology across the lifespan at an undergraduate
level, and an ability to contribute to higher level teaching and
research supervision in Cognitive, Social, Perceptual or Applied
Developmental Psychology. Applicants should also have the
potential to attract external research funding.
Preference will be given to applicants whose research interests
complement those of existing developmental staff and who are able
to demonstrate excellence in research and research based teaching
in Developmental Psychology.

The position is available from 12 January, 1998 for a fixed-term of
five years with the possibility of conversion to tenure.
Salary range: Level B (Lecturer) $43,042 to $ 51,113 per annum.
