MEASUREMENT AND CORRECTION OF THE OPTICAL ABERRATIONS
OF THE HUMAN EYE
Refractive surgery, and the coupling of the human eye to instrumentation
has rekindled a strong interest in the measurement and correction of the
optical aberrations of the human eye. The purpose of this feature is to
gather in one place at one time in a respected archival journal a
collection of articles that reflect the current state of the art and
science pertaining to the measurement and/or correction of the optical
aberrations of the human eye.
Of particular interest are articles on the in vivo and in vitro measurement
and/or correction of the ocular aberrations of the human eye including but
not limited to basic research and clinical applications.
Manuscripts should be submitted by December 1, 1997. Each manuscript should
be identified as a Measurement and Correction of the Optical Aberrations of
the Human Eye feature paper and be submitted to the Journal of the Optical
Society of America - A, 2010 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C.
20036 and will be reviewed in accordance with Journal of the Optical
Society of America - A policies.
