ATR Workshop on Human Visual Perception
- Linking Psychophysics and Engineering -
DATE : July 3-4, 1997
PLACE: ATR Human Information Processing Research Labs.
(Kansai Science City, Kyoto, JAPAN)
LANGUAGE: English
General Information:
The ATR workshop will provide a state-of-the-art review of vision science
and its applications in industry. The goal is to enhance transdisciplinary
interaction between psychophysics and engineering, and to foster the
development of new ideas both in basic research and its applications. The
main focus will be on stereopsis, depth and motion perception. In four
sessions, the talks will cover basic research as well as human factors for
display systems.
