Post-doctoral position for functional MRI and psychophysics research
For an immediate opening, we are seeking a post-doctoral fellow to
participate in functional MRI and psychophysical studies of motor learning
and motor preparation in young and aged humans. The incumbent will
participate in a NIH funded collaborative effort between the Department of
Neuroscience, Division of Biology and Medicine, Brown University, and the
Functional Neuroimaging Group at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center,
Harvard Medical School. The main performance site will be at the
Department of Neuroscience, Brown University, with image acquisition done
at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. The Brown
laboratory environment has extensive interactions with neurophysiologists,
cognitive scientists, biomedical statisticians, and those with applied
mathemathetics skills. Background in functional neuroimaging, behavioral
analysis, and quantitative and computer (C programming, UNIX) skills are
desirable, but not obligatory. Competitive salary and benefits.
