Dear Hoover:
Could you be please so kind to forward the following message:

Postdoctoral research position in Noninvasive Electrophysiology of Vision

We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow who is interested in further
development of clinical electrophysiology of vision and has already
experiences with such techniques. We are presently exploring an extended
use of multifocal techniques. Additionally we would like to introduce
techniques to separate ON and OFF channels by electroretinography by means
of long duration flashes. This technique should be combined with component
analysis of electroretinographical responses.

The electrophysiological laboratory at the University Eye Hospital in
T|bingen has a long-standing experience in invasive and non-invasive
electrophysiological techniques in the visual system. Additionally the
electrophysiologicaly lab is imbedded into close contacts to other
researchers of the department (chairman Prof. Dr. med. Eberhart Zrenner),
who employ single cell electrophysiological technique (Dr. Elke G|nther),
extracellular recordings from the lateral geniculate (Dr. Jan Kremers), non
invasive application of electrophysiology to animals (Dr. Frank Schaeffel)
and of course a large clinical electrophysiological laboratory. Those
interested in the position are kindly asked to send an e-mail to
ezrenner@uni-tuebingen.de and/or meet Prof. Zrenner and/or his co-workers
at ARVO. The contact at ARVO is Sheraton Yankee Clipper Hotel 1140
Seabreeze Boulevard, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. 33316 (Tel.: 305-524-5551)
Attention E. Zrenner.
