POSTDOC POSITION IN SYSTEMS NEUROSCIENCE AT UC BERKELEY
A postdoctoral position will be available in the Division of
Neurobiology, Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at University of
California, Berkeley, beginning after April 1, 1997. The research program
aims to understand information coding in the early visual pathway and activity-
dependent plasticity of the visual circuits. With anesthetized cats as the
experimental preparation, multielectrode recording, in vivo whole-cell
recording and theoretical analysis of information coding will be performed.
Successful candidate should have a solid training in electrophysiology at
cellular or systems level. Experience in computer programming is desirable.
