Assistant Professor. The Department of Psychology at North Dakota State
University announces a tenure-track position starting Fall semester, 1997.
Specialists in any area of health psychology or human neuroscience
(cognitive or behavioral) who can contribute to our department's strengths
in these areas will be considered. Evidence of strong research potential
with human subjects, an ability to teach psychological research methods and
courses in specialty area, ability to interact effectively with colleagues
and students, and effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication
skills are required. Individuals with a completed Ph.D. and the ability to
teach a variety of courses are preferred. Our 12-member department grants
the M.S. degree, offers excellent human research facilities, start-up funds,
and a teaching load of 3 semester courses per year. Animal research
facilities are not available. There are 3 major hospitals (including a VA),
a Medical School Department of Neuroscience, and a neuroscience research
institute which offer opportunities for collaboration in a pleasant and
growing community of 130,000. A complete description of the position and
