Within a Project supported by the European Union a Position for a
Post-Doc holding a European Passport (but not Italian) is available at
the LIRA-Lab of the University of Genova coordinated by Prof. Giulio
Sandini.
The ideal candidate is a person with a neuroscience background
interested in developing software and hardware models of sensori-motor
mechanisms with particular emphasis on eye-head-hand coordination. A
strong background on software and hardware development is NOT required.
The working environment is a Department of Computer Science with a
long-lasting experience on biologically motivated robots and systems.

The position is available for periods of no less tha 1 year and for a
maximum of 2 years. Salary is in accordance with the guidelines
suggested by the EU within the "Training and Mobility of Researcher"
activity and it is of the order of 2000 ECU/month (approximately
2200 US$).
