Research Studentship and Scholarship in Clinical Vision Science
The University of Ulster invites applications for a Research Studentship and a
Research Scholarship, both of 3 years duration, commencing on 1 October 1997. In each
case, the studentship will cover payment of tuition fees at the home/EU rate, and
provide a maintenance allowance.
Research Studentship supported by Alcon Laboratories.
The successful candidate will undertake supervised research on the clinical
application of novel psychophysical techniques for the earlier detection, and improved
monitoring, of sight threatening diabetic eye disease; this project is likely to have
immediate implications for the clinical management of patients with diabetic eye
disease.
For an informal discussion please contact Dr Chris Hudson, telephone 01265 324433

assessment of visual function in diabetic patients.
For an informal discussion please contact Dr Roger Anderson, telephone 01265 324891
