POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP, VISUAL PSYCHOPHYSICS IN CLINICAL RESEARCH
A position is open for a postdoctoral fellowship in the Visual Disorders
Laboratory of the Retina Foundation of the Southwest. The position is funded
through an NEI*grant, with a primary focus on studying visual function in
patients with glaucoma. One branch of the project is development of a
quantitative model for effects of ganglion cell loss on visual thresholds. A
second branch is a long-term study evaluating effects of surgical reductions
in intraocular pressure on visual thresholds.
